Salvatore graduated in 2017 with a diploma in violin from the “Vecchi - Tonelli” Higher Institute of Musical Studies in Modena under the guidance of M° Paola Besutti. In 2020, he completed his master program summa cum laude at the “A. Peri” Institute in Reggio Emilia, studying with M° Alessandro Ferrari.
He has collaborated with Filarmonica dell’Opera Italiana, Orchestra Filarmonica Abruzzese and Filarmonica Toscanini of Parma. With the Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani he performs on prestigious occasions and venues, such as the Senate Chamber Concert and the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, alongside renowned figures like Alexander Lonquich and Giovanni Sollima. As a founding member of the Kelis Ensemble, he has participated in events such as “FAR” in Reggio Emilia, “Onde sonore” in Modena and “Il suono giovane” in Florence.
Alongside his work as a violinist, Salvatore has cultivated a passion for the viola, which has allowed him to perform with various chamber ensembles.
Since 2019, he has been the violist of the Quartetto Leonardo, performing at festivals such as “Virtuoso & Belcanto” in Lucca, “Cinque Terre International Festival”, Trame Sonore” in Mantua, “Verdi Festival” in Parma and the “Ravenna Festival”. He has also performed in a quintet with Alessandro Taverna in a live RAI broadcast and at the Quirinale Palace. In 2021, Quartetto Leonardo received the “Farulli Prize” from the Italian Association of Music Critics. In 2022, Salvatore completed his Chamber Music program with the Artemis Quartet at the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
Thanks to collaborations with CIDIM, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Accademia Chigiana, he has performed in cities such as Thessaloniki, Berlin and Bremen. In 2023, he was selected by William Coleman for a project at the Royal College in Stockholm. He has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians, including the Kuss Quartet, Bruno Giuranna and the Jerusalem Quartet.
In 2024, he joined the Motus Quartet in Vienna, led by Johannes Meissl, taking part in international projects in Tunisia, Taiwan and at the Musikverein.
In December 2024, he officially joined the Doré Quartet.
Salvatore plays a Giovanni Pistucci viola from 1910 circa, thanks to the kind concession of the Fondazione Pro Canale of Milan.
