Ilaria Taioli

Violin

Born in 1998, Ilaria Taioli began playing the violin at the age of six. She began her studies with Anton Berovski, obtained her diploma summa cum laude at eighteen years old at Conservatorio G. B. Martini of Bologna and continued her education in Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano obtaining a Master of Arts in Music Performance with Klaidi Sahatci, First Concertmaster of Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. She later obtains a Master of Music in Violin at Conservatorium Maastricht in the class of renowned violinist Kyoko Yonemoto.

Currently a guest player for Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Orchestra Filarmonica di Modena and La Toscanini of Parma, she performs with these orchestras in Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Japan and the United Arab Emirates with artists such as Roberto Abbado, Gustavo Gimeno, Sarah Chang, Jan Lisiecki, Andris Poga, Valentina Lisitsa, Jessica Pratt and Kian Soltani.

She has won prizes in both national and international competitions such as Concorso Nazionale per Giovani Musicisti "Luigi Zanuccoli", “Primo Concorso Musicale Premio Crescendo” and "Concorso Riviera della Versilia".

In previous seasons Ilaria has given a series of performances as a soloist for the Rassegna Musica in fiore in Bologna, Salso Summer Class & Festival with Orchestra dei Musici di Parma in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR) and Talent Music Summer Courses&Festival with Master Orchestra in Mozzecane (VR).

She has attended masterclasses by Zakhar Bron, Oleksandr Semchuk, Kurt Sassmanshaus, Laura Marzadori and Cristiano Rossi. In the years 2016-17 she has also attended high specialization classes held by Salvatore Accardo at Accademia Stauffer in Cremona.

Ilaria plays a Giovanni Battista Ceruti violin from 1815, thanks to the kind concession of the Fondazione Pro Canale of Milan.
